Yes, to start. You get a set number of questions a day, the offline law database and exam practice at no cost. Paid packages lift the limits and add the exam and chamber features — you never have to buy anything to get an answer.
Every answer names the Act and section it came from, so you can check it yourself — that is the point of showing them. Where no statute in the corpus supports an answer, the app says so rather than guessing. It is legal information; it is not a substitute for an advocate who knows the facts of your case.

They are saved to your account so your history works across devices, and they are sent to an AI service to be answered. Do not include details about other people that you would not want processed that way. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.
Client, case and hearing records are visible only to members of your own chamber. We do not share them between chambers and we do not train anything on them.
